Varanasi Junction railway station (BSB) which is 8.6km away and Banaras railway station (BSBS) which is 6.4 km away are two nearby railway stations located in Varanasi which are nearby to Live Free hostel. You can hire a tuk-tuk either from ola/uber/direct from the railway station which ideally costs 200-300 to reach the hostel
There are a couple of nearby cities from which you can come by bus/car to Varanasi. Distance of those places from Varanasi are: Delhi (830 km), Prayagraj (67 km), Lucknow (310 km), Kanpur (330 km), Mirzapur (64 km), Gaya (242 km), Ayodhya (217 km). These buses will drop you at Lahartara Road or Sudhir petrol pump. It’s around 10 km from the hostel. You can take a tuk-tuk or hire OLA/ Uber for approx. INR 200 to reach us.

We provide lockers in the dorms. Each bed has a locker for guests to keep their valuables. It is advised that you carry a lock for the locker if needed. However, availing a padlock from the reception will be subject to availability and at an additional cost.

No, we don’t have AC anywhere in the property as Mcleodganj weather is cold for almost whole year.
